Shadow Dance
Aytalya of Stonehold (Darktide)


I fear not the Shadows, do you my friends?
Darkness may come, but its reign will soon end.


Whether fire, or lightening, or the Sun’s bright light,
The weapons of Goodness shall pierce through the night.


As Shadows dance across the scorched sand,
The Forces of Good gather across the Land.


Alchemists and warriors forged the Atlan blade,
Now seek the prey for which they were made.


The spires loom pulsing with a maddening sound,
Like judges looking over six condemned towns.


The Dark Prophet tells the Shadows will fall
First down on one, then spreading to all.


Kill first their Captain, the great sages said.
A portal shall open, and your path lay ahead.


Those strong of spirit, who’s names doth burn bright,
We may not be chosen, but we are going to fight.


Great heroes, you now know the task before you.
Shine your light on the Shadows, is what you must do.


“Mors principium est,” that too we do know,
but what still remains, is when we must go.


We wait for some sign, some message, or call
For when these dread Shadows are expected to fall.


Together, we stand gathering strength from within
Waiting for the Shadow’s great dance to begin

Anxiously, we all wait for impending attack,
For now, dance with the shadow that stands at your back.
